Text Translation


Conduct evaluations and process responses in any of over 100 languages

If you are running a multinational program or event, you may be missing out on valuable insights from attendees for whom English is not their first language.

Evaluāt is language agnostic, and we are here to help.

Question Translation

Our research suggests that when you offer evaluation questions in both English and a target native language, your audience will feel more comfortable responding in their own language. And when they do that, the breadth and depth of their feedback increases.

So why not let your attendees know you speak their language (even if you don’t) by providing translated questions? There are two ways to do this:

Evaluāt’s Translation Assistance

Simply send us the English version of your questions, and we will take care of translating the questions and setting up a bilingual template for you to use in your evaluations. This service may be included in some Enterprise contracts, and is available for an additional, one-time fee for our other customers. Please contact your Customer Success representative for more details.

Customer-provided Translation

Perhaps one of your own teammates can translate the questions, or a partner or client has the capability. Simply send us a document with both the English and non-English text of each question (and response options, as applicable), and we will set up your bilingual template.

Response Translation

Our system automatically detects responses written in a non-English language and determines the source language. We can automatically translate that text for you, and incorporate that translation into your evaluation report alongside the original text.

Our translation is performed by computer, so while it may not be perfect, we have found it to be highly accurate. We will even run our Sentiment Analysis on the translated text so you never miss a beat when reviewing reports.

Availability

Response translation is available to all of our customers for a nominal fee. The fee is based on the number of translations performed, and we will generate an invoice for you monthly based on actual usage. Enterprise customers have the option of building a translation quota into their contract. Please contact your Customer Success representative for more details.
